An electrical engineer and economic expert with a distinguished academic and professional background. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and Cornell University. He made history as the first Kuwaiti to earn a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Al-Wazzan has extensive experience in the financial sector, having worked on Wall Street at the New York Stock Exchange, where he collaborated with leading financial institutions such as Credit Suisse. He later pursued advanced studies in Economics at Duke University, with a research focus on social entrepreneurship and human-centered economics. He is the founder of wazzanMath Learning Lab and the Humanitarian Entrepreneurship Consulting Firm. Additionally, he serves as a board member of Al-Wazzan Charitable Foundation. His contributions have been recognized with several prestigious honors, including: The Amiri Medal for Scientific Excellence, awarded by Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Recognition by Larry Page, co-founder of Google, Representing Kuwait in the International Mathematical Olympiad. Beyond his professional achievements, he has a deep passion for Arabic poetry, padel tennis, and surfing.

He has held various positions in both academic education and the technical field. He is distinguished by his deep passion for both the humanities and applied sciences, and is known for his determination, discipline, and practical mindset. His hobbies include mountain climbing and skiing.

He currently serves as Acting Head of the Mathematics Department at Abdullah Sinan Intermediate School for Boys and previously held the position of Logistics and Public Relations Manager at wazzanMath. He is known for his patience, open-mindedness, and ability to embrace diverse perspectives. His hobbies include poetry and photography.

He serves as a robotics trainer and administrative officer at Al-Wazzan Charitable Foundation and wazzanMath, and has experience in designing curricula and educational programs for children. He is known for his collaborative spirit, openness to new ideas, and passion for both work and continuous learning. His interests include writing, calisthenics, and creative crafts.
